as "steel tongue drum", a former member of the "pan drum" family. Its reeds are tuned to a particular scale and are set up to allow an easy left hand-right hand alternate playing around its circular surface. It is very easy to play even for those without previous musical knowledge. It can be played either with the tip of the fingers or mallets.
