The mouthpiece has a part that slides on the inside of the body allowing a small margin of variation in the length to be able to compensate for slight detunings that can arise with temperature.

The mouthpiece has a brass tube that slides over the inside of the body allowing a small margin of variation in the length to be able to compensate for slight detunings that can arise with the temperature. The slide makes tuning adjustment easy and smooth.
