Tamborims
The Tamborim is a small frame drum that is struck with a drumstick that is usually multi-barred. It has a super sharp and dry sound, and it fulfills its role within Brazilian percussion groups. In general, it is usually made of metal with a plastic patch, but there are also wooden ones with a leather patch. The standard size is 6 inches.
