The frame drum is a universal percussion instrument that is played throughout the world with different denominations. It is a drum with a relatively narrow frame, on which a taut skin is maintained that vibrates when struck. They are usually round, but can be found in other shapes, such as squares, hexagons, etc. They are played with very different techniques, either with the hands or with drumsticks
