Victor Barral Bodhrans

The bodhran is the percussion instrument of Ireland, used in traditional music and also called Celtic music. It is played with a stick or mace with which it bends over the head obtaining very varied sounds thanks to the technique of modulating the tension of the head with the hand behind the skin.

Victor Barral bodhrans are made of wood (depending on availability). It has 8 tensioners to regulate the tension of the head, which are activated with an allen key from the rear edge of the frame. The tensioners are embedded in the frame, so there is nothing that protrudes or adds extra weight to the instrument. The head is natural, goat, medium-thick. Includes stick and allen key to tighten / loosen the head.
