Chalumeau

The chalumeau is a small keyless wooden clarinet with the same fingering as the recorder (German fingering). It is an instrument that had its peak at the end of the 12th century and during the 13th century.

Our chalumeaus are handcrafted in Spain by Sans Luthier. They can be made in other woods. If you are interested in one made in a different wood than those presented in our catalog, do not hesitate to contact us.
