This flute has six holes. It includes a leather cover, which can be used on the third hole from the top, as seen in the product images. Covering the third hole from the top makes learning the flute easier. The leather cover can be easily untied and removed, allowing the flutist to play the instrument as a five- or six-hole flute.
***Note: The sound sample video has the same key, wood type, and tuning frequency, although it is in the Spirit Flute design. Until we have a new sound sample with this traditional design, the current video is a good example of the flute's sound.***
