The Brazilian cavaquinho is a small stringed instrument, similar to a ukulele, with 4 steel strings traditionally tuned in D-G-B-D (Re-Sol-Si-Re). Its compact, bright body makes it the rhythmic heart of genres such as samba and choro. Made from select woods and featuring a lightweight design, this cavaquinho offers a crisp, lively sound.
