This is a support for the top part of the chanter for anyone who needs the added stability. You hold it against your chest while playing, and you can use it with straight or angled earphone/MIDI connector. It snaps on nicely to the top bit of the chanter, and there's plenty of room around the top thumb contact.
It keeps the moisture in the reed. The sound of the bagpipes is sweeter since we have a few minutes playing, because the reed is acquiring the moisture from the bellows.
