It is possible to modulate the sounds of this whistle by blowing air more or less strongly through the mouthpiece. Made of wood, it is an effective, natural, easy to carry and solid instrument. The Clariphone is a wind instrument with a clarinet mouthpiece invented and manufactured by Sans Luthier. It is an evolution of the Keyless Chalumeau, which does not get 2 full octaves. With the modification that is incorporated in the clariphone, the range of the instrument increases to more than two and a half octaves, from Si -1 to sun 2, inspired by the Italian Ciaramella and the Catalan Flabiol.
