IMPORTANT: Being a completely handmade instrument, the craftsman can make slight modifications, which will generally involve improvements, which may make the photos slightly different from the current ones. What is peculiar about the Peñaparda square drum is the way it is played with one hand on one side and a wooden baton on the other, which allows a wide interpretive possibility in terms of rhythms and showiness.
