Sansula-Basic

Price €99.80
Since its launching in 2001, the Sansula has quickly become a bestseller and found thousands of friends at home and abroad. The special feature of the Sansula is its unbelievable sound. Whereby the clear and aesthetic design is most appealing. The oval frame of laminated beechwood is fitted with a membrane which, together with the resonating block, produces a prolonged, soft tone. Furthermore, an impressive 'wah-wah' effect can be produced by holding the instrument against the body, on the thigh or laying it on a table and then alternately raising and lowering it while playing.

Sansula Renaissance

Price €161.80
Sansula Renaissance is a wonderful instrument based on the African kalimba. Starting from this original instrument, Hokema has placed the kalimba suspended from a membrane that has the effect of extend the duration of the sound and amplifying the sound in a natural way. By zooming in and out of the bottom of the Sansula to a solid surface, a curious wa-wa effect can be produced. The Renaissance model differs from the basic model in that the membrane is made with a super resistant membrane from the Remo brand, which is usually used as a percussion instrument head, maintaining the loudness practically 100% compared to the basic model.
