The udu is a percussion instrument of African origin. It is originally made of ceramic, with the consequent fragility against any blow. This udu is made with a pumpkin, so it makes it more resistant. The bass is very similar to that achieved with a ceramic one, but the blow to the body is drier.

The tapered body was designed to give a richer tone for an ABS instrument, the by-product of which is a smoother transition over the octave break.
Tunable polymer whistles with an internal telescopic tuning slide. Designed for their sleek appearance and positive tuning, this new addition to the range is based upon the existing whistle head with a tuning slide similar to that found on many wooden concert flutes.
