You hold it against your chest while playing, and you can use it with straight or angled earphone/MIDI connector. It snaps on nicely to the top bit of the chanter, and there's plenty of room around the top thumb contact.

3-hole flute from Salamanca. Jatoba, oak or ash woods (depending on availability). Length: 39.5cms. Tuning: A: La-Bb-Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Bb-Do-Re (look at the picture with fingering) Made by hand in Spain by Manuel Pérez. It can be made in other woods (ask the prices and woods available). The gaita charra is of pastoral origin, like other variants that exist in the Iberian peninsula and in the rest of the world. It is usually accompanied when played simultaneously with a traditional drum. To achieve the full scale, you have to change the intensity of the breath every 4 notes.
