The gaita charra is of pastoral origin, like other variants that exist in the Iberian peninsula and in the rest of the world. It is usually accompanied when played simultaneously with a traditional drum. To achieve the full scale, you have to change the intensity of the breath every 4 notes.
Tuneable with aluminium body and polymer mouthpiece. Incorporates the internal tuning slide on an aluminium body. The ABS head tunes on a solid nickel slide, fixed in the aluminium body, resulting in a solid, bright tone - an exciting addition to the Dixon family of whistles.
